It was reported on the news, that a Dutch Man was sentenced.

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands' father Jorge Horacio Zorreguieta 

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands' father Jorge Horacio Zorreguieta was born on 18 January 1928 to a wealthy farming family in Argentina.

He later served as Minister of Agriculture in the 1976-83 military dictatorship of General Jorge Rafael Videla in Argentina.

It is estimated that between 7,000 and 9,000 political prisoners ‘disappeared’ under Videla's charge, many of the bodies simply dumped en masse into the Rio Plata from airplanes.

Videla died in prison in 2013 and among the various crimes of which he was convicted were 66 murders, 306 kidnappings, 93 cases of torture and a number of child kidnappings, whereby babies of political opponents were taken from their mothers and given to supporters of the junta.

Videla's regime, known as the 'Process of National Reorganization,' fought against armed leftist guerrillas, but these movements were already weakened and nearly destroyed at the time of the coup.

The junta soon pursued political opponents, union members, student activists and social workers, rousting people from their homes and torturing them in clandestine detention centers.

Known as a technocrat while heading the Agriculture Ministry, Jorge was one of the longest-serving civilian Cabinet ministers during the regime.

But he denied knowing anything about human rights abuses committed under the junta. 

The wealthy landowning Argentinian was later shamed but not convicted for his role within the cabinet.

Meanwhile, Videla said he knew about everything that happened under his rule because 'I was on top of everyone.' 

Jorge was kept away from his daughter's 2002 wedding to the now King Willem-Alexander because of the Dutch government's concern over his participation in the dictatorship.

In fact, the royal couple were only allowed to marry after the Dutch parliament investigated Maxima’s father past and concluded that she knew nothing of the dirty war atrocities, having been at primary school during the junta years. 

Jorge was also unable to attend Willem-Alexander and Maxima's investiture as King and Queen in April 2013, after the abdication of Queen Beatrix.

But despite not being able to attend these events, he was present for the christening of Maxima's three daughters princesses Catharina-Amalia, Alexia and Ariane.

This was because the Dutch government considered those a private, rather than a state matter. 

The former politician died in Buenos Aires in August 2017 from cancer at the age of 89.

He is survived by seven children, having married twice.

I think that whichever way you want to see the matters, by two Popes that speak louder than my own words, forced to live the tale with terrible consequences, regret and guilt afterwards, unable to lead a proper life by the actions of the rest, one by the Argentine and the other by the German Politics affairs, than a Dutch man is sentenced for a few stupid words full of regret, but never the crimes and criminals, incredible! -    https://tinyurl.com/um89b7n
